A PLACE FOR FRIENDSHIP

black hoodiesCornerstone is a place for you to meet new people, form new friendships, and build meaningful connections with other students.  

We offer “Dinner & Devotions” featuring good food for your body and your soul as well as occasional movie nights, games nights and lots of other social events. 

We  provide a relaxed, open environment where you can find acceptance and affirmation in the context of Christian community.  Come and join—we’ll help you find a place to belong!!

A PLACE FOR SPIRITUALITY

bandCornerstone is also a place for you to explore your spirituality. to ask questions, to seek answers, to receive direction and guidance, to experience growth as you travel your spiritual journey with other students and staff.  If you're looking for  real answers to your spiritual questions, CORNERSTONE is for you!  Join us as we share our faith and learn together

WORSHIP TOGETHER EVERY SUNDAY AT 5:00 P.M. at Chapel House Interfaith Centlessons carolser followed by Sunday Supper a 6:00 p.m.

Bible Studies with a variety of themes are offered throughout the week.

We can also help you connect with a local congregation and “host family” who will serve as your “home away from home” during the school year.

A PLACE FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE

lawn rakingDo you want to help make this world a better place, but struggle with the question of “how”?  Cornerstone offers opportunities for service and mission in the community and around the world.  We also give you place to explore issues related to what it means to be a Christian today—social justice, social action and more.  You’re invited to really think and explore with us … and then to put what you know into action.  Together we can make a difference! 

new orleansHere’s some projects we’ve worked on—Habitat for Humanity, Spring Break Mission Trip, Tutoring at Iglesia Emmanuel after school program, Emergency Homeless Shelter, CROP Walk to end Hunger, and Church World Service Health Kits for Tsunami Relief.  Service projects are scheduled on a monthly basis and opportunities are open tot he entire campus community.

So, if you need a place to relax, enjoy life and just have at good time,
Cornerstone is the place for you.   We’ll help with the basics—food and fun!  (and it won’t cost you an “arm and leg”).
