This Week's E-News

August 2018
Welcome to UAlbany and The Interfaith Center!  Thanks for stopping by our table during orientation this summer.
We’re busy getting ready for the new semester.  We hope that as you make plans for the new school year, you’ll include us in your schedule.   We hope to be a place where you can develop friendships, grow on your spiritual journey as we learn together, make a difference through service and mission and have a load of fun!
Opening Weekend Stuff
Move In Days, August 23 and 24.  We’ll be there to help you move your stuff in to your room.  Look for the people in the white Cornerstone t-shirts!
Great DANEtopia, Sunday, August 26, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Want to know more about Cornerstone.  Find us at this special event featuring a wide variety of student groups and services.  Meet our leaders and get free stuff!
Opening Worship & Sunday Supper, Sunday, August 26. Interdenominational, informal worship for all at 7:00 p.m. followed by finger foods (chicken strips, fruit, mini eggrolls, etc) and more fun!  The Interfaith Center is located in the Campus Center, #346 and we worship right next door in CC#375  Don’t know where it is?  That’s ok … they’ll be walking groups from Great Danetopia, State and Indian Quads or we’ll come and pick you up!  (call Sandy at 518-495-0029)
We want to invite you to our regular programs – In addition to “Worship & Sunday Supper” every Sunday at 5:00 p.m., we have Tuesday “Food and Faith” at 6:00 p.m. (a free home cooked meal!!).  You’ll also have a chance to sign up for a Bible Study, Java and Justice, and social events.  And we have some great hands-on service projects planned for the semester.
If you have any questions or concerns (even if it’s about something other than Cornerstone or The Interfaith Center… such as “what should I pack?”), feel free to email me at or look for me online. You can also like us on Facebook (Cornerstone Campus Ministry) or follow us on Twitter (ua_cornerstone) or Instagram (UACornerstone) or SnapChat (UAlbanyCornerstone)
Our web-site at also contains contact information for our student leaders – they are available to assist you as well!!!
Enjoy the last few days of summer and I hope to see you soon on campus.
