Sunday, August 24	"Moses - Waters of Change" Moses emerges from the Nile - the place intended to be a place of death - to arrive in the Palace. On this anniversary of Hurricane Katrina we'll look at the power of water to destroy and to heal and the role we play in changing our world. Exodus 1: 8-2:20; Psalm 124
Sunday, August 31	"Moses - Excuses, Excuses" Moses is called by God in the midst of a burning bush but he has more excuses than enthusiasm. What is God calling us to do? What excuses do we offer? How will God equip us for the task? Exodus 3:1-15 Psalm 105:1-6,23-26, 45c
Sunday, September 7	"Moses - Remember, Restore, Renew" We'll recall the story of the first Passover in Exodus and reflect on what God wants us to remember in the midst of our efforts to be restored and renewed. Communion will be served. Exodus 12:1-14; Psalm 149
Sunday, September 14	"Moses - Dry Road to Freedom" The amazing story of the Israelites crossing of the Red Sea on dry ground to safety can inspire us to look the roads God provides for us to assure our safety in the midst of trials and tribulation. Exodus 14:19-31; Psalm 114
Sunday, September 21	"Moses - Tension in the Wilderness" In the midst of their escape to the new land and freedom, the people get cranky and start to grumble and complain and tensions arise. How does God respond to their whining? Does God care about our whining? Exodus 16:2-15; Psalm 105
Sunday, September 28	NO WORSHIP - SCHOOL BREAK
